Sometimes beginnings are strange.
Babies take time to learn their first steps — they fall, crawl, stumble and wobble.
It's a whole new world once you begin to walk, run, jump, and swim.It feels like we've just started to stand. Can't wait to learn everything else with you.
and so the starting line is daunting,
with our little travel aids,
we venture forth into a bold new world
it might look like you are alone
but i've been there for you
always.
The word I chose to describe you was picturesque,
Not linguistically accurate if describing you,
but rather a place we are in,
everything, everywhere, anything, anywhere
...is indescribably more beautiful with you.Thank you
for bringing colours i never knew before we met,
for making the stars the brightest they have ever been,
for turning the sky purple during sunsets,
for glowing the moon as white as I have ever seen,
for music notes so pure i have never heard,
and i guess for making me shave off my horrid beard.
The seas we sail has storms and dolphins,
Like a lighthouse, I'll stay lit on your journey to win
To gently guide you down the safest path,
and reveal the things that make us laugh.
If ever it gets too rough at sea,
I tug boat is what I will strive to be,
To tow you to calmer waters,
I'd love to be your forever otter*.
Forever I'd hope you'll be my dear,
Since drifting together for over a year,
Sea otters often hold paws in “rafts” so they don’t drift apart while resting and to keep cozy.
